tail light guards

Has anyone welded or fabricated them right to the body of the jeep?

how would you change the bulb if it blew? i have the one's that mount on the taillight itself. work great. i've dinged them a few times on trees and no smashed taillights for me....nice n' legal.

Do you mean the corner guards, not the taillight guards? I believe those in the photo, BTW, are made of plastic.
