I bought a new jk tailgate and a new cj tailgate. had my body man cut the bubble off the jk tailgate and the logo off the cj gate and weld it in. he said it was tough because of all the reinforcement inside the jk gate for the carrier but he did a good job.

We just launched our rear tailgate cover as well.
One of the cool things is that the CB antenna/whip is included.

Good luck in your choice.

How are you planning on venting the air when the a/c is on and when you slam the door with a hard top on?

Thanks guys for the feedback! I went ahead and ordered the swagoffroad plate. I will try to run a LED strip through the hole from the center vent to right above the plate to stay legal.

Rancho/Vector - I appreciate your feedback in this thread and I will look into your plates when I do the same mod to my Dad's rubi and (maybe) the lady's JK.

Just put the screws back in from the spare tire carrier you took off.
