Default Taking a modded jeep to Rosarito

MY buddies are planning a bachelor party in Rosarito. We are staying in las gaviatos (gaurd gated community). Would you guys risk it or am I being paranoid. I had a 4x4 Chevy crew cab stolen 8 years ago in Mexico. Also, what anti theft do jeeps have? Seems they could pop hood and disconnect battery so alarm won't sound. Any help appreciated. I just feel the thieves would love this.

I wouldn't do it, in fact I would keep your jeep as far from the Mexican border as possible. There are ripp crews targeting jeeps all through Chula Vista, IB, Coronado, and the rest of the South Bay Area. Bringing a jeep into Mexico just makes even easier for them.

Don't do it, I hate hearing Jeeps getting stolen in the San Diego area, they all end up in Mexico. Even if you don't take it to Mexico I would add a Revelco anti theft device(of course nothing is going to help if they use a flatbed truck)

I just got back from a week in Rosarito, I took my 35s off and put on stock rims. I figured if it got taken I would just buy a new Jeep and I would still have my tires.
