But dont even think you could actually use boggers every day highway,,
I second that! Buy a more sensible daily driver set of tires, and 7 months from now buy a cheap set of steel wheels & those boggers, and use them when you need to. You'll still be better off $$-wise than running those on a daily basis.

If you can afford to replace them in 7 months then get them, you might like them. If not don't.

I'll put it to you like this...It seems exciting at first, and for the first few days, you'll be happy with it. Then you'll figure out that trips lasting more than 10 minutes will be frustrating and unbarable. Your ride quality will go down the tube. Your hearing will go down the tube because you'll have to turn the radio up to flood out the noises at 65 mph that are emitting from your tires. That's just way too much to have some COOL looking tires. I think we all can agree that any offroad tire looks COOL, and guess what? They are functional as well. Do yourself a favor and take a look at Goodyear MT/R, BFG mud terrains, cooper mud tires, etc....They have a striking appearance as well....

I would certainly re-gear your Jeep. There are charts you can find on the internet that should be able to tell you what you'll want to regear to. I'd assume around 4.56-4.88 would suffice...

Of course your Jeep will go down the road with your stock gears, but you're not going to be achieving higher speeds or good acceleration. You'll, at most, be hitting 60 mph flooring it (assuming you don't have the 4.10 gears). If you're equipped with the 4.10s already, you'll still be able to get up to highways speeds most likely.

As for the 5.13 gearing, most Jeepers (in the past) seemed to hold off on using that gearing till 38s or above. 4.88s were real common for 37s and 4.56s for 35s. But, it's your choice and I'd just talk to whoever is installing the gears and see what they have to say to you as well...

I know its to late but i thought i would mention some tires no one else has. Mickey Thompson Baja Claws Radials. Look super cool. Great in mud and rocks. Good on road manners. About 5 members in our club have ran them and they easilly get 30k miles on a set.

I personally have ran 2 sets of 35x12.5x15s Claw's on my TJ and loved them. I have had Boggers, Dick Cepek Fun Country's, General Grabbers, BFG AT's, and the Claw's in the past and the Claws are by far my favorite all around tires. Granted the Grabbers and BFG's were better on road but don't look as cool or work anywhere near as good off-road.

I currently am trying to decide on the MT Baja MTZ's, MT Claws, or the Irok radials for the JK when i get it. I think i am leaning toward the Irok's because of sizing and price at the moment. Then again i will not be putting many miles on mine, Maybe 5k a year.

Hope that helps.
