Default Tcase bash plate

Guys i just wheeled my rig recently..I thought I had adequate height and ground clearance with the 2.5 inch BB kit but I noticed that the bash plate that protects the t-case rubs on a lot of obstacles. It looks like it is the lowest part under the JKs belly..Is this part there to do exactly that???? or are there stronger looking after-market part to replace this???

Default Skids

RockHard4x4

AND

TnT Customs/Treks

Both make skidplate packages and are sponsors of this site. It appears the TNT/Treks site is getting some changes right now, but they do make skids. I just emailed them a few weeks ago and they plan on releasing a 2-Door complete set at the end of the month. Lots of guys on this forum are using the RockHard4x4 equipment and seem to like it. SkidRow makes a specific oilpan/transmission cover (I think), but I've read it's quite heavy and has had a few fitement issues. I also think their front end skid is a joke, but that's my opinion.
