Default Tell me about Aussie Lockers!!

I was looking at lockers for my 2012 JKU with Dana 30/44...I've seen that Aussie Lockers are super cheap and low maintenance.
Haven't been able to find much about them, all I have seen is that they aren't great for ice/snow.

Does anyone have any input??

they are cheap and relatively easy to install. i ran one on my old TJ for a while and they work well enough. being that you're here in socal, you'll be fine with one.

The lockers a great but cause a lot of stress on your components that can lead to expensive replacements. I'm in the market for one myself. I got this information from speaking with dynatrac about them.

yeah, so long as you take your time and modify the way you drive in the slick stuff, you'll probably be okay. i personally didn't like having it in icy conditions and, is ultimately why i upgraded to arb's.

I don't think they make one for the rear axle?

If you are worried about winter weather driveability and don't want to cough up the dough for a selectable, look at the detroit truetrac. Low pricing, better onroad manners than an auto-locker, and good offroad performance until you start lifting tires on a regular basis.
