Question telling the difference between types of vibes

Hi guys,
maybe someone can help me here. I've got a 3" lift with 35's and stock rear drive shaft with adjustable upper control arms which has been smooth sailing for me for a few months now. no issues or vibes at all until about a week ago. I was quite shocked at how smooth it was.

Lately, I've been feeling what feels/sounds like a subtle drive line vibe around 60+mph and more at 70+mph in the rear end only but it comes in subtle waves and disappears. I'm not overly concerned right now since it's not that bad, but I wonder if it's a sign. I have to drive it 400 miles over the weekend and if it got worse, I could end up stuck.

I'm wondering if maybe my tires are just out of balance. Is there any chance I could be confusing tire vibrations with drive shaft vibes?

I've got a vibration also since I added my 35's. Very subtle but rythmic between 40-45mph, any other speed its fine. From what I gather, speed related vibes like this are most likely tire/balance related. I'm hoping I'm right on this and that it's not something more serious. Would like to hear other's opinions as well.

Driveline vibrations are typically throttle sensitive, noticeably worse under load and they are higher frequency. They also feel more like they "inside" the vehicle, if that makes sense.

If you're going on a long trip with passengers and a lot of gear it's worth at least a quick check of both.

hAve a tire shop CHECK the tire balance and then rebalance if needed. you may have lost a wheel weight or even as tires wore a bit u r now out of balance.

I like the inexpensive fixes...and a tire balance issue is a good one to check first.

Off roading tends to unbalance tires in several ways, typically, from chunking, knocking weights off, and/or dinging the rim, and when aired down, the tire can slip on the rim, changing the orientation of the heavy/light parts.

You can ALSO get some dried mud on a shaft, or in a rim, etc, making the drive shaft or wheel slightly out of balance, etc.

So - These are Good cheap fix ideas to check first, in case you get lucky.

So, I checked things out a little more in depth. Drive shafts look ok, no dents, no missing weights but, I noticed that it only vibrates under load or accelerating between 40-45 mph, not bad, just annoying a little. If I coast between 40-45mph it doesn't vibrate. Any ideas? Could it be because my axle has shifted off center about 1/2" after lift. I'm gonna put on my adj. rear track bar this weekend to see if it makes any difference at all.
