Tera Flex 2.5 spring lift
I ordered a TF 2.5 spring lift with shock adapters. I'll probably install next weekend when I have off. How hard is to install the new springs without using spring compressors and a floorjack with jackstands?
It's very doable. It'd be better to have an extra body to help out with the install but you should be able to do it yourself.
A little advice, don't put the factory bumpstop in and then expect to get the spring around it (front) Put the teraflex adapter in, then the spring and then lube the stock bumpstop and shove it it. it'll make sence once you are under there

Our techs here disconnect the lower arms for extra droop. Do one side at a time. Unbolt the swaybar links and front track bar. Watch your brakelines!
You will probably have to take the bolt out of the brake line frame mount to get enough clearance, or at least I did.
You can rent spring compressors. I used a pair ( always in pairs) of Macpherson strut compressors to do it. They go on the outside of the springs. If you do rent them, tell them you are doing struts or the won't rent them to you, or at least I wouldn't (hint at what I do for a living).
They are as safe to use as you make them, it doesn't take a lot of compression to squeeze the springs down a couple of inches.
I have also read somewhere on here that you can bend the tabs that hold the bumpers in place and then use a hammer and punch to bend them back inward. If you do that, just put the bumper in the extension, and then place that inside the spring. Put spring in place, and then the bumper assemble in place and bend the tabs. If I would have done it this way, I would not have needed to compress the spring with a special tool.
Lots of luck, I love my 2.5 inch kit!

I just did my TF 2.5" coil lift w/adapters. I couldn't have imagine doing it with out a jack and stands. As far as getting the springs in the rear, it takes longer but is easier than front to get the springs in. you'll probably have more difficulty with the front passenger side. I'd advise you to go in from the back side of the axle. I also put the bump stops that TF supplies in boiling water to ease the fight of putting them on.

So, you don't have a floorjack or jackstands either?
