Default Tera Flex or Rough Country Budget Boost

I am looking to get a 2.5" budget boost and run 305/70/17's with it.

I am debating between the Tera Flex and Rough Country setups.

What do you think is better and why?

Thanks.

I have the TF BB. I couldn't be happier. I went with 16x10" wheels because they didn't have them in 8". I only have min. rub on the front mopar bumper when flex and hard turning at the same time. I get plenty of flex and the tires stuff nicely with no rub. The directions with the kit are not all that specific. The write up on Project JK for the TF BB helped alot. TF customer service was great. The guy gave me his cell phone number and answered questions for me during my install while he was at his brothers wedding. Thats great service. I can't speak highly enough about that.

if cost is a concern, the RC BB is the way to go. if you have a little more to spend, the TF BB comes more complete. either way, a BB is pretty much a BB and the only difference in them is in what all comes with it and how they are made.

I have the RC lift and it works fine for me. While installing the kit I realized there were two bushings missing off the RC 2.2 shocks, and of their own accord RC over-nighted the parts to me so that I could finish the install.

Stock shocks are too short; new shocks will allow full articulation. If you're just going for the look for street, I would think you'd be okay with the stock shocks. If you plan to wheel, you should get the new shocks.

TeraFlex has 6 different 2.5" kits to offer. 3 have coils and 3 have spacers. Check with your favorite vendor here as to prices.
