Default Tera Flex SS Brake Line Problem

Installed the included brake lines in my TF 3'' kit today. Everything went smooth tell we test drove it. Started to develop a soft feel and upon inspection there was a slow leak from where the braided line meets the end cap on the caliper end of the line. When I depressed the pedal to see if the leak worsened, DOT 3 burst out of the line on my buddy's face. Needless to say we were both pretty upset. We ended up putting the stock line back on the passenger side (leak side). Does anyone know who makes the lines TF provides? I'm gonna call TF monday morning and see what they can do but it makes me question the quality of the lines in general. Has anyone had any issues with other aftermarket brake lines? Good or bad? I know a couple companies make them and I'd like to have the best. Thanks- Jason

Yea, it wasn't leaking at the banjo bolt..it was leaking where the braided line is pressed into the metal end-piece.

Iv'e had my TF 4" lift for 16k miles and no brake line problems. They have been very good to me on a couple of other warranty issues. I would think they will stand by their product. Even the best suppliers have a bad one once in a while. I agree, It can be frustrating though.

My 30" TF brake lines are working fine. Give Joe at TF a call.

Yea I plan to tomorrow. I've been really impressed with their suspension and I am extremely happy with it. This brake line thing seems like a fluke but still....It's one of those things you absolutely do not want malfunctioning.
