TeraFlex 1.5 coil lift with Bilstein 5100 and 1/2 spacers Good idea?
Ok, so I want to get the TeraFlex 1.5 coil lift with Bilstein 5100 shocks but I would also like to add the TeraFlex 1/2 coil spacers front and rear to get roughly 2 inches of lift for my 2017 JKU. My question is do you think this is a good Idea and has anyone ever done this set up? I would buy the 2.5 coil lift with shocks but I think my 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers might look to small in the wheel well. What do you guys think. Also would my Jeep sit level if I were to go this route?

it is a fine idea and will work well. I did the same when I had my TF 1.5 performance coil kit. it will sit level as the TF kit lifts 2" in front and 1" in back and 1/2" spacers will add 1/2" at both ends no less no more.

I can't say from experience with doing that myself, but I don't think it's a stupid idea. I see your logic in thinking that a 2.5" coil might create too much space in the wheel well, especially if you don't plan to add a larger tire. Also, a 2.5" coil might actually net you a little more than 2.5" of actual lift. A lot of that is jeep specific weight of various mods is an X factor. The smaller the spring lift, the more accurate the actual lift is likely to be. I'd say that if you're shooting for 2" of actual lift, your plan of 1.5" spring with a .5" spacer is a good target. I can't speak to how it might look though with that size tire.
