Not that I can vouch for this but someone one here used some 3" or 4" Sch 40 pvc pipe, sliped over the guide then jacked the axle up and it snapped into place.

Thanks for the advise guys

I was thinking something along these lines, but maybe not pvc, maybe a steel pipe with some rags over the end to protect the pucks.....

I've put the springs back in, so im thinking that i'll take it for a drive and with a bit of luck a bumpy track will force them to seat themselves and I should here the popwhilst driving along

Got to Walmart and give some fat women free donuts to jump in the back of your jeep.

Haha, I have a voucher for krispy kreme, buy 12 get 12 free so im sure I can get a few people interested,

got everything sorted and fitted correctly in the end.

I measured before I started removing the old RC 2.5" and got 97cm front and 93cm rear through the center of the wheel upto where I made contact with the fender. After removing the RC coils and fitting the Teraflex 2.5" BB pucks and factory springs I get 99cm front and 97cm rear. so a gain of 2cm at the front and 4cm at the rear, quite a difference considering there meant to be the same sized lifts

Anyway, im happy, the ride quality is better, I kept the RC performance 2.2 shocks on, the ride is more plushy, which I like, the RC coils were very harsh, even on the road I could feels EVERYTHING. much better, may get the front spacer shortly to eliminate the rake.

thanks again for the replies to my question

I used a 4" SCH40 piece about 6" long, a block of wood (under the PVC), and a bottle jack, popped right in. And no, no flying PVC, worked really slick. Those pucks squish if they have uneven pressure pushing on them. The PVC evens it out and the go right in place.
