Teraflex 2.5" BB w/shocks or Teraflex 2.5" lift kit w/shocks
So they both lift the jeep 2.5 inches. What are the pro's and cons of the two? I'll save approximately $160 going with the budget boost. I don't care about saving $160 dollars if I am going to sacrifice performance. So what are the differences between the two? Thanks!
Well, that's a debatable topic on here but I'd say yes , you'd get more flex with a coil lift. But they do have some heavy flexers on here with just a BB and trimmed fender flares. So , my REBB flexed really good with a 1in bodylift added. But my 4in Superlift gives really great flex aswell. It's all in what you want to spend I guess.

I have the spring lift. The spring lift can give you a better feel and flex.
The exact lift you get from the spring lift is not as predictable as the BB. The BB is simply spacers, so the lift will be the size of the spacers. The spring lift is new springs, so the lift will be determined by the weight of your Jeep - 2 Door/4 Door, metal Front/Rear bumpers, winch, spare tire weight, etc. If needed, you can adjust the lift with small spacers.
I have a Rubicon, so I decided to reuse the shocks and went with the shock extensions. I really like the feel and performance of the spring lift with my stock shocks. I think that if you get different shocks you can get a little more flex - which is good and bad. Extra flex is always nice, but the extra flex may mean that you brake lines may not be long enough, you may flex into your skids, you may get some rubbing, etc.
Even though the spring lift is not as deterministic as the BB, I would still get the spring lift and make any small mods as potentially necessary after you get it installed.
