Default Teraflex 2.5 Coil Help

I got to the point of working with the rear Control arms... and in the process of loosening the very first bolt cracked my only socket that fits it. How important is it for me to loosen these???

without unbolting the one end. the rear end may not drop enough to slide the coils in

you can try and use an open end wrench, but I highly recommend going to a local autozone or something and get a breaker bar, torque wrench and a new socket

x2 on the Breaker bar, it goes a long way with the install for those tough bolts. Can't you use a spring compressor? I wish I used one so I wouldnt have had to loosen my track bars, they are pain to get back lined up.

so for the most part it all went good till i got to putting the shocks back on...

I soaked the bolts in wd40 before i put them back on and i still had it lock on me. a Royal pain in the ass. took an hour to get it most of the way on and its still not tight. Right bolt and nut.... just locked up for some reason.

My trackbar bracket is a little off but nothing a bit of drilling wont fix.

So did you finish yet? I hate it when I snap/explode sockets in the middle of a install.

Nope still working on it. Its been on and off with work and other things.

Pretty much i have everything ready for the front coils to go in but cant seem to get the axle low enough. I watch those brake lines start the stretch and dont dare push it much farther. Ideas?

Have you removed the ABS sensor wire? My R&D tech said you can even remove the calipers for more room to slide the coils in.

Also, if you unbolt the bracket that holds the brake line to the body, it will give you an extra 4-6" of clearance, that made a big difference for me.
