Default Teraflex 2.5, How to assemble shock?

I got the set with the shock replacement, but the instructions only detailed if you had shock adapters. I put them in as...

nut
brass washer
cushion
chassis of jeep
cushion
brass washer
shock

But I'm getting a little clinking noise when going over bumps, I'm assuming its the brass washers? Anyone know how these were supposed to be put in? I'd call Teraflex but its 2 am

That sounds like the right order for a front top stem, don't think the washers are brass. Did you check your lower bolts also?
