Default Teraflex 2.5 without upgraded track bar

Just finished reading joes thread on installing the Tera flex 2.5 suspension lift. Good stuff! With the help of that thread I have finally worked up the nerve to do myself. But I do have one question. How many of you installed the tf lift without the upgraded tracking bar? Did you have issues? Did you wish you went ahead and nought the track bar first?

I ended up buying a new trackbar after the lift install.

Since its not a necessity for that height, you may just want to wait and see.

I did the 2.5" lift without the trackbar, and after couple months added the trackbar, and am happy I did.

trackbar and front lca's made centered that axle up perfect and teh lca's made that kit handle so much better than without.

Neither are items you "have to put on", but do make a difference.

instll the kit first and see how you like it. you can always add the other items ans funds/ time allow.

JKS. It was $60 cheaper than TF and came recommended by Dave at Northridge.

Default No Trackbar needed

I have the 2.5 inch lift and did not replace the track bar. Jeep drives just fine. Maybe the wheels are off 0.25 inches but I really cannot tell without a tape measure since my tires are wide enough. It is such a small difference. Jeep drives same as stock at least on the highway as my daily driver. Save the money.
