Default teraflex 3" lift

im debating between the teraflex 2.5" and the 3" lift. How was actual lift is gained from each on a 4 door?

Check out Terraflex's web site. Its pretty informative on actual lift heights. Good Luck.

from what i have seen, the 2.5" lift yields about 3" of lift and the 3" lift closer to 4".

For a 4dr I would go with the 3". I have a 2dr and the 2.5" coil TF lift in which the actual lift was over 3" and I still wish I went with the 3". You will get less "actual" lift height with a 4dr as they are heavier so I would def get at least the 3".

When I had my 2.5" coil kit, my front was sitting at about 3" and my rear at about 2.5".

Go with the 3" kit with control arms. Very happy with the way mine came out. Not sure how much actual lift the kit gave me, but from getting in and out of the jeep now, it feels like more than 3"

Don't know about "have to," but I'd highly recommend the TF forged trackbar as well. And if you want it to sit level, especially after an aftermarket bumper/winch, add a couple of 1" spacers to the front. I added the TF steering stabilizer to mine as well.

Yeah, you will need a front adj. track bar to re-center your front axle. Give Joe from TeraFlex or David at Northridge 4X4 a call. With this kit http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...256200&cat=272 you will have the adjustability required for caster then, again, all you would need is a front TB.
