Default Teraflex 3" spring lift

How upgradeable is this kit? My 09 Rubi is my first jeep and I'm really wanting to go ahead and put this kit on there but my main concern is that it will not be upgradeable. Just how far can this kit be upgraded?

that kit comes in a ton of different configurations. How upgradable it is depends on what kit you start with. I have the 3" with the half set of control arms (front lower, and rear upper) I also added adj. track arms. As money allows I plan to add the draglink flip and the front uppers and rear lowers. Maybe one day I will go to long arms. I am running the Old man emu long travel shocks though.

Teraflex makes heavy duty stuff, and Joe from teraflex is very active on this site and is very helpful with any questions regarding their products.

here is mine:

Hi there and welcome to the forum! The TeraFlex 3" kit is very easy to upgrade. If your thinking of doing a LA kit, then you can get the #1955000 long arm upgrade kit with brackets/arms. Most of TeraFlex's kits share bumpstops/tb brackets and other parts. Just let me know if you need anything.

thanks for the info guys. The 3" kit with shocks is on backorder right now but the 3" kit without isn't. 4 wheelparts currently has the bilstein shock buy 3 get one free so i think I'm going to go that route. What does everyone think about bilstein shocks?

It is a great kit. Here is a pic with the stock tires. It does not look too crazy.

I used bilstien shocks on a 06 Tacoma I had and on my wifes FJ Cruiser Trail Teams edition. No complaints so far. Its a shame the Tera shocks are on back order...did you try David at Northridge? You should also vist the Teraflex website Teraflex.biz there you may find the shocks you need in the blem are. Those are parts that are blemished, but function with out problems.

Good Luck!

I would run a blem shock no question. Its gonna have a blem when I get done with it. bet on that. lol.

Billsteins are known for being high quality performance shocks in many automotive circles. I haven't seen anyone not like them that own them. I have the old man emu long travels... they are pretty nice too. ty jrav btw.
