Default Teraflex 3" w no arms...

Is anyone running or has run the Teraflex 3" w/o controls for any matter of time...how bad would the ride be with this amount of lift and no control arms??

Im running the kit with out any arms or trackbar adjustments. Bottom line the ride isnt to bad, i do have a pull to the driverside but nothing that bugs me all to much. Ride is on the stiffer side but still very good. The flex off road is awesome! I enjoy the looks as well. The kit was easy enough to install and i had no prior experience working on vehicles.

Honestly I never measured....

I have put 9000 miles on the jeep since i put the lift on, and Im still happy with it. However after reading all the posts about trackbars and adjustable arms, it makes me wonder how much better the ride could be.

I can tell you that my tera 3" with all 8 "flex arms" and adj. track bars is quality. Sorry, I dunno about no arms at all. I think it would be pretty nice with a rear track bracket, front adj. trackbar, and lower front "flex arms" tho.

I'm happy with the ride with just the 3" Teraflex lift (no adj control arms). I did install the front adj trackbar with the lift to center everything up. I figured I can always add the control arms later if somehow I get convinced they are a must have. I guess you don't miss what you never had so until I get a ride in a lifted JK with adlj control arms I'll never know what I'm missing.

Actual lift from a 3" is 4.25" and it looks really nice with 35" tires. The flex is really nice. The pull to the left is remedied by getting the Teraflex HD adjustable trackbar! Its a wonderful lift kit! The first time you flex it you will go

I'm sorry but there's no way the flex from the stock fixed arms can compare with the flex from the teraflex or other adjustable arms made with flex joints/johhny joints...imo. It may be good/satisfactory for some but you won't see the full potential of your lift without new control arms. Everything is upgradable tho so you can always do the lift now and build your jeep up how you want, thats what I'm doin. Goodluck

What about the TF 3" lift, but with Adj CA's in the front... Are they really needed in the rear?
