Default Teraflex Advice

Just bought a '10 Sahara Unlimited, automatic transmission. I'm ready to lift it up to run 35x12.5x18 BFG KM2s with XD Series Monster wheels. I'm undecided between the Teraflex 2.5" Performance Budget Boost lift and the 3". I anticipate some casual trail riding with the wife and kids but nothing serious. Could someone give some advice? I'd love to save the money with the 2.5" but at the same time would rather pay the money if the 3" is what I should do. Thanks

I think the 3" is the better choice. One's you set it up you find excuses to go offroad.
The casual will be lost fast. I do understand the 3" is more money, that being said. You wont regret it.

Just my 2cents but I prefer the spring lift. I have used "Hocky pucks" in my past vehicles and I just think a better ride comes out of a full spring lift.

Don't go to cheap or you'll regret it later down the road. I went cheap one my first lift but made up for it with the second one.
X2 on the coils. You can always find great deals on the forum!

Coils all the way. May consider the 2.5" coil lift also if you dont want to shell out as much for the 3". Lots of guys running 35s with the 2.5" coil, it's a great lift.

The 3" would be my choice but of course it's your dime so it's easy for me to say.

Don't forget that you will need to re-gear if you want to maintain current performance with the 35's.

I just had the TF 2.5" Spring Lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks, TF Quick Disconnect, and TF Front tracbar put in my '10 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara yesterday and I am really happy with it. Netted 3" in the front and 2" in the rear. The bottom of the fenders on the front and back sit at 39".

Took it out today for a drive and put 100 miles on it to see how it handled. It was smooth and rode great, took it on 66 and got it up to 80 with no issues. I then took the back way up 15, 50 and some back roads to Leesburg with no issues. Definitely rode a little firmer but not harsh at all
