Default Teraflex arms

How many of you have problems with rear lower control arms squeaking? I'm talking about the body side poly bushing, not the axle end. I'm going to take the arms off tonight and grease up the bolts and shoot them with some PB Lube because they are squeaking pretty bad. My Jeep is just a weekend and evening driver. Only have about 1000 miles on the TF kit.

None at all. Did you grease them up good when you put them on?

No, not the poly end. I guess I should have. I'll be doing that tomorrow morning I guess.

Something is loose; wasn't lubed when installed, improperly installed, or defective for this to happen. I grease mine every oil change and before and after every ride. I also avoid mud at all costs, I do not mind clean flowing water such as streams and stuff but I will avoid anything over 4 inches deep of mud if I can. Besides having to clean it off, it is truly hard on seals and stuff and wears on them. Also if you have a bad seal, mud will do damage faster than water. The first part is fact, the mud thing is mostly opinion and I truly don't care if people drive underwater in 7 ft deep mud, it's not for my JK.

4" is the average pot hole in NJ. Wouldn't last a day here!

Might want to just call TF and ask for new bushings, grease will not help now. If they are squeaking from that, you have toasted them already. At least it will be a cheap repair, TF may even hook you up. PM them and tell them it didn't say grease in the instructions that you seen. Maybe they will be nice.

My passport is not current anyway, I would be afraid they would not allow me back below the Mason-Dixon line

Your talking about the clevite bushing end? Or the brass colored flex joint end? Either end should not squeek or are known to squeek. Did you torque the arms down when the jeep was in the air or sitting on the tires?

Talking about the clevite end, not the brass sperical end. Everything was torqued down once we had it on the ground. It just started squeaking about a week ago. We put the lift on back in November.
