Default Teraflex BB help!!!

I ordered and installed the teraflex 2.5 bb and it seemed to go off without a hitch. a couple days ago i was experiencing a weird metallic like clicking noise coming from the front, mabe front left tire area. There was a metal bracket that i did not intsall becuase i did not see instructions for it, should i have installed that, if so where. im not so sure the clicking is normal. anyone have the same problem?

Check the bolts on your sway bar links and track bar. The small plate may be a track bar relocation bracket.

Is the clicking noise really loud? Explian the road conditions when you heard the noise and is it constant. Also were you turning and suddenly here the noise? Could be several things but need a little more detail to figure out if it's something not installed correctly or another unrelated problem with a different part. Also does it happen at all speeds, over bumps etc... The results matter for us to help determine possible options.

It could be that you didn't reinstall the front factory rubber spacer....

The only thing I could think of because the spring is sitting on the hard plastic of the puck instead.

Maybe the sway bar links are loose...

Maybe the shock holders are loose...

I'd check the things you installed first, then move to possible factory problems that could have occurred after the install.

the bracket in the kit is for the rear track bar. There was not instructions in my kit, It goes on the frame side on the track bar and you will have to drill one hole.

greenmachine07,

I would suggest calling Teraflex. I have called them several time with questions and they have been most helpful. Very easy to deal with.
