Default Teraflex BB kits

I am a complete newb. I have read through several forums. Most of the information that talks about these lifts is a couple years old. I am looking at these lift kits for a 2010 wrangler unlimited that I just purcahsed.

I do not off road much but I want the capability and like the look of lifted jeeps. I am planning on running the stock wheels and tires until I can save enough for new tires. I am really looking for a small lift while maintaining the day to day ride quality and probably will want to add larger tires down the road. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the three types of lift. I am considering the following. Other than off road capability, what reasons are there to go with a coil lift?

What spacers would I need with any of these? I would like my jeep to be level and have the ability to eventually run 33 or 35 inch tires.

terraflex BB without shocks
terraflex BB with shock adapters
terraflex BB with shocks

Thank you in advance for your time.

If I remember correctly the budget boost is just spacers and not an actual coil lift. If that is the case I would keep saving until you can afford the coil lift. It gives better flex, and you will be much happier with it. Also, when you lift, I would reccomend getting new shocks.

I went with the Budget bust with Shock Adapters. Get the adapters. Buying new shocks that are compariable quality to OEM rubicon shocks would make this kit very expensive. Love the lift.
I have a 2008 JKU Sahara that I bought at 25k used. I installed the lift myself (no mechinal experiance) and 10K miles late I love it.
You can mount 35's on the JK with this kit and no spacers.

Pro's
Cheap and easy to install (following the JK-forum instructions)
you can upgrade to rubi shocks. I get my rubi shocks for $50 bucks on craigslist. They came off a 2012 and had 12 miles on them.
the kit comes with bumpstops and brake line exts, and extended sway bar linbks
Rides better than stock.

Con's
Spacer lift. you don't get the same articulation you would from a coil lift.
No a "serious" rock crawlin lift IMHO.
You will destroy your front shocks when you try to remove them. Not the kits fault but a consideration of the TOTAL kits cost.

X2

If your jk has been in any snowy conditions, there is a chance that you will snap the stud on your front shocks. I soaked mine in WD-40 ahead of time and still snapped one.

Ok, so I read your advice and talked to a friend who has experience building jeepps and I am going to go with the bb with the adapters. I think I am also going to do a one inch body lift. What do I need that does not come with the kits? I am going to start on stock rims and then put on 34 inch tires with new rims in a month or two. How much am I going to spend to run the stock tires? I might wait till I can get all of it done. Another option I had was to keep the stock wheels and then just add tires. Will that work? I don't want to annoy my buddy with all of these questions.
Thanks in advance.
