Default Teraflex BB shock extensions

I'm about to get the BB installed with the shock extensions and was just curious if anyone ran into any problem with them since I didn't get the teraflex shocks? The reason was that I have a new JK and only 600miles. Was it a good decision just to go with the extensions?

The only problem I had or have seen is when the jeep is older and the shock mounting nut is rusted bad. You can twist the top stud off the front shock if you aren't careful. With a new one like yours, it should be a piece of cake!

I have been running them for 50k miles and keep saying I am going to buy new shocks and well I haven't yet. I am going to buy new ones, I swear I will do it someday.

You shouldn't have any issues. Some say it will limit your flex a little but I haven't come into situations where I was hindered by the shocks, I guess I am not hard core enough yet.

We have been getting together about once a month someplace in the Chicago area for drinks. Plus there are always multiple off-roading trips every month. Just keep an eye on the posts in Great Lakes and post up if you can join in. There are quite a few of us and it is always a good time!

Only problem I had was that the extensions came pre-rusted. Wasn't real bad, just looked like someone had used them before the packaged them up.

Mine did as well. The bag they shipped in was coated with a fine rust powder and the extensions had small rust spots all over them.
