Hi everyone. I will be installing the Teraflex 2.5" BB on my Unlimited Sahara. I would like any suggestions or recommendations on any other parts that I might need. I will be running the stock Sahara wheels and tires. Thanks a lot.

The kit comes with everything you need to do the lift, except tools.
You might find that your axles will be off center after the lift. To correct this, you will need either a track bar adapter bracket, or new adjustable track bars.
If you find that the ride is too bumpy or stiff, you might consider installing some adjustable front lower control arms to correct the caster angle and smooth the ride back out.
After the lift, your rear axle will shift over slightly, and you will need to watch for your tires rubbing on your rear sway bar. This is easily corrected with wheel spacers. Make sure your brake lines are clear of your tires as well.

I thought that my jeep looked funny with stock tires after my lift, kind of like a roller skate. Your next purchase might need to be some rugged 33 inch tires.

You will need wheelspacers.

 

Why, if he is just running stock wheels and tires?

 

Because the factory wheels have some much backspacing that the swaybar can rub against them. Now some customers have not installed the TeraFlex swaybar links in the rear and just used the stockers. This keeps the swaybar down away from the inside of the wheel.

 

If you are re-using you're factory shocks with extensions, be VARY careful when removung the top nut on the front shocks. It is a fine thread, and if there is much corrosion on the threads, it is easy to twist the stud off the top of the shock!

I have seen this happen on more than one occasion....

like TeraFlex says, the spacers are a must if reusing the stock wheels.
i have the metal shavings for proof of what they preach.
pls dont learn the hard way like i did.
there is no way around the spacers except aftermarket wheels.
if u flex out u will grind to a halt....rapidly.

if u leave the stock swaybar links in the rear u run the risk of binding up and flipping the swaybar down or worse. use ur imagination.
