Default Teraflex Dana 30 Diff Cover

Has anyone had any issues filling the JK dana 30 using this cover?. The fill hole seems very low even compared to stock. Is there a trick to getting the correct amount of fluid in? Fill plug is about 1 inch lower that my stock cover. Pic of stock photo of Teraflex cover. Any thoughts appreciated.

Mine isn't any lower, it's the exact same distance from the bottom as stock. Just went and measured mine.
