Default Teraflex Disconect Question

All right, this may have been discussed earlier, but I didn't see it.

I've got some gift certificates burning a hole in my pocket & want to get a pair of disconnects. The Teraflex are cheaper than the JKS & people seem to be happy with them.

Here's the question...

I'm at stock height right now but plan on adding a 2" or 2.5" BB next year. Will the same TF disconnects work with both? I'm assuming to do so they have to be a bit long for the stock height, but that shouldn't cause any problems right?

From what I can tell, it looks like your best bet would be to get the Teraflex disconnects. They have a set that works for 0" to 3" of lift. The JKS one go from 0" to 2", and the next set is from 2.5" to 6" of lift. Beside Teraflex has that nice hanger to hold them out of the way when disconnected.

Give me a call if you need to! The smaller disco work great for stock to 2.5" kits.

Default Reviving this old thread: Disco's in Front, Rear or both?

Hi folks,
Can't find info on whether or not I should put disco's on front, rear or both. I'm looking at TF quick disco's because of that tab to hold them up and already have a AEV 2.5 XT Dualsport lift installed (very happy with that btw) the JK 2dr is a DD seeing more city asphalt than earth for now..

Thx

I have never disconnected my rear and I have plenty of flex.

Here is the proof from the Topless for TATA's Black Friday run @ Rausch Creek.
