Default TeraFlex Dual Sway Bar

Any suggestions on this dual sway bar. How many people have used it and what is the experience.

I have been waiting to install one for ages but both Northrdige and Quadratec have them in back order.

Also is it better to go with Factory electric dicso or go with dual sway bar.

I'm fairly certain that there are not any JK dual rate swaybars in production yet. And near as I can tell, nobody has any idea of a release date. This tells me that it's months away.

I have an electric swaybar disco, and for convenience it's really great. But for me, there's a downside. I'm building my own bumper and there is a clearance issue with the motor. As a result, I'd actually sell mine if I could get a fair price.

Dual rate sway bars are exactly that. When you "disconnect" you are actually disconnecting one of two bars. This allows for better articulation, as compared to being fully connected, lessening the problems that are associated with being fully disconnected. This from the Teraflex site:
"The Dual Rate S/T Swaybar System gives you the best of both worlds. Engaged in the "street" position, the bar allows for a stable highway drive. Disconnected in the "trail" position, it allows your vehicle to articulate and your tires to bite despite the terrain with balanced suspension travel."

BTW, there are two other companies that make a soft single rate swaybar. The Teraflex system is like having both a full street swaybar AND a soft trail rate swaybar. BTW, Full Traction is working on one too.

How different is the Currie compared to Tera. Price? Performance? Install? Lift height? etc etc Can you turn it on and off manually by knob

I was thinking about installing the elec disco but after hearing so many issues I have decided against it and want a better and reliable sway bar disconnect

The Tera is actually a sway bar on pavement. A knob is turned to release it when off road. The Currie isn't really a sway bar per se.
