Teraflex High Performance Leveling Kit Install Question
I have a 2009 Unlimited Rubi and have the Teraflex H.P. Leveling kit (the one with springs). I have read the instructions numerous times and am confortable with everything except the removal of the track bars front and rear. Is this totally necessary, or can I just loosen the bolts and then re-torque them whem done? I am just nervous taking them off and not being able to get them back in.....
Any ideas or opinions are welcomed. I really want to do this myself, to get a better idea and fell how it works. Just don't want to mess anything up.....
Thanks,
Chris

Just drop one end of the trackbars. It's straight forward and a simple process. Just make sure when you install them the Jeep is on the ground. And make sure to torque them properly - 125 ft/lbs.
If you don't at least unbolt one end the axle probably won't drop enough to allow you to install the longer springs. The other alternative is to use a spring compressor, but that is a pain in my opinion.

Same goes for all of the control arms. It's really a good idea to loosen and re-torque each end of the control arms after you're done with the lift. This will free up the bushings and let them be torqued at their new position.
