Default Teraflex Leveling Kit Add-ons

I had a local mechanic put on my Teraflex leveling kit, the puck one.

I asked him about weather or not I should buy the quick disconnects for the front, and he told me not to bother. He explained to me that with my sway bars disconnected, the axles will hang on my break lines, and that If I wanted extended travel in my suspension then I would need break-line extensions and shocks with more travel.

My jeep is just a casual off roader, but I would like to build it up a bit. Is what my mechanic said accurate? Would adding a set of OME shocks and extended break-lines give me more travel?

I know a long arm lift kit is the ultimate, but I am looking to just move the needle a little. I can't go dumping thousands of dollars in my jeep all at once.

Quick disconnects will not cause your axel to be hanging by your break lines. with the leveling kit you will need to make sure that you have enought slack in your break lines at full stuff on both sides. With the Tereaflex leveling kit you should be fine. Quick disconnects will really improve your offroad capability.
