Hey guys, quick question.

Is there a difference between the 2 door and 4 door Teraflex Performance leveling kit? I was thinking about putting the "4 door" version of these coils on my 2 door for a little more lift than advertised.

I have a 4 door with the 4 door kit and LOVE it! I'm sure they have to be rated different. They have different part numbers, there has to be a difference. Call Morris 4x4. Leveling Kit 1.5" by Teraflex for Jeep Wrangler JK

 

If the spring rates/compressed length/free lengths were different but in the same ratio as the 2 door then you plan would work. If they are at a different ratio (rears are longer in comparison to the front on the 4 door kit) or something along those lines, then you may not actually sit level. If you're looking for more lift I would suggest a Lift Kit that will also level your rig out.

I want a solid 2" lift up front with an ARB bull bar and winch. Its so hard to get exactly what I want.... I am considering the teraflex 2.5" kit but Ive already bought 285 75 16 tires and don't want to much lift... plus its a daily driver. I am also considering using the heavy duty Rubicon 10a coils or the heaviest (19/60) JKU coils...

 

Just go with a leveling kit and call it a day, been there, done all that and a 2.5 lift is way to high for 285s.

 

Yes there is! Putting a 4 dr on a 2 dr is a easy way to get some extra lift. Sorry our main server lost 2 hard drives and we lost some emails/orders.

Kinda figured there was an issue if the Teraflex crew never emailed you back. I called yesterday and got information regarding something that was not even in relation to one of their products.
