Default Teraflex Question

i Just finished up installed my 2.5 in teraflex BB, For the new rear sway bar links to they go on outside or inside or it dosent matter, I know the fronts are on the inside, so i put the rears on the outside as the stock ones where but the bolt was rubbing against the brakes would it matter if I put them on the inside?

the links are supposed to be installed on the outside of the sway bar but, if you are running factory wheels WITHOUT wheel spacers or wheels with too much back spacing, you might find it necessary to install them on the inside as they can come into contact with your side walls.

look on any stock JK and you will see that the links are mounted to the outside. this is where they should be. you can run them on the inside but, under extreme droop, the links will make contact with the control arm mounts on the axle. this is not that big of a deal but, it is what it is and there's really nothing weird about it. teraflex just tells you to install the links on the inside because if you don't, you run the risk of having the sidewalls on your rear tires make contact with the link ends.

I ran into this exact same problem after installing my 3" Flexarm Kit. When it was on the jack stands and the tires were off, everything seemed ok based upon the instructions provided. Once I lowered it to the ground the bolts came in contact with the balancing weights on the inside of the rim. A quick swap cleared up the issue but, it had me scratching my head there for a bit as I thought "This IS how the instructions told me to install them right??"
