Question Teraflex relocation bracket

As you all know the Teraflex 3" lift kit comes with a relocation bracket for the rear trackbar.

Here is my question: Is it better to weld the bracket into place(as recommended in the instructions) or just swap the whole thing out for a rear adj trackbar? Which option is stronger?

Thanks

The adjustable track bar is the better option. This allows less stress on the factory track bar bracket.

Here is where it gets interesting Which trackbar then? I ask because the Teraflex rear TB uses this bracket anyways if I'm not mistaken.

I agree that the adjustable track bar is the better option BUT have you ever seen the Teraflex bracket?

I believe the TF bracket attaches to the frame side of the track bar and lowers it. I was originally thinking that it attaches to the axle side and that is where the breaks seem to happen. If TF supplied a bracket and a track bar I would use both as TF makes a great quality lift and I would recemend welding the bracket, because that will increase the strength.

You say use both the bracket(welded) and the trackbar. So I imagine that the aftermarket rear trackbar is stronger than stock?

Example: Teraflex rear trackbar

Did you purchase the rear track bar separate from the kit or was it included? The reason I ask is that I understood that your kit came with the track bar and relocation bracket and the directions stated to weld the bracket on. Generally I believe if you have an adjustable track bar you do not need the bracket.

With the Terraflex trackbar they list in the instructions that you still need to use the drop bracket.

I would recommend welding the bracket. I was hit on the freeway in the rear tire. It sliced the sidewall and moved the bracket over slightly pulling the axle with it. I had to loosen everything move it over and then tighten things back up.

No, my kit came only with the bracket. I'm currently using my stock rear trackbar. I was considering in purchasing a adj rear trackbar. I was under the notion that relocation brackets may cause failure. I know that I'm centered. I'm just looking to minimize roll and undue stress on related components.
