Check out this thread. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...94-Spring-Lift

I was asking the same question yesterday. I have the Rubicon and from what I understand the stock shocks are pretty good. I'm going to use the money I save from buying the Teraflex shock and buy an adjustable front track bar.

I just installed the same lift with the TF shocks a few weeks ago and am very happy with the results.

I think a lot of the ride quality will depend on the wheels/tires and air pressure you run. I went with 33" tires on 16" rims and find things comfortable at 35psi.

For the short time I had the factory Rubicon wheels and tires on after the lift, I thought the ride was equal or better than stock.

I have this installed on my 2011 Rubi Unlimited and I used the stock Rubi shocks, as when I asked about them I was told they were good quality shocks and the Teraflex would not offer any improvement. I have a great ride on my JK and glad I did not shell out for the more expensive shocks. I am running 33's

After I switched my OEM Rubi shocks to the Teraflex 2.5 coil and shocks the Jeep actually rode much better (it was a lot less stiff of a ride). I'd do it right and go for the shocks too.

Go with the shocks. The extra travel is worth it!

So there should be no issues adding the TF shocks to the 2.5" coil lift that initially came with shock extensions and the brake line brackets?
