Default Teraflex Steering Stabilizer

Installing one tomorrow, which way does the fat end go? I have seen WOL attach it to the tire rod end, and have seen other writeups with the fat part on the axle end (per directions too) . Does it really matter? Thanks

Fat end toward the middle. That way it won't rub on the track bar.

I have a woods SS relocation kit so I put the fat side attached to the trackbar, otherwise it hit the braket on the axle side.

It functions the same in either orientation, you just want to make sure it's not going to hit anything since the trackbar can wiggle up and down.

Think that you mean the tie rod, not the track bar. Shouldn't be any wiggle in the track bar, nor does the ss attatch to it.

I would follow the directions supplied with the SS which coincide with the stock installation: fat end on the axle.

Everyone else, thanks for the input on the TF SS.

check the TSB's i know the 07's originally came with the fat side on the tie rod but because of road debis hitting the piston and dinging one of the reasons the stabilizers fail over and over

There have been several on here fail by rubbing the trackbar bracket. On my replacement, I was told to out the canister end toward the pass. tire per the instruction; additionally you may have to rotate the mounting point on the tie rod down for clearance on the trackbar bracket. This should agree with the instructions. You can also PM Teraflex.
