Default Teraflex Steering Stabilizer - Worth it?

Thinking of changing out the stock SS to the Teraflex 9550. Is there any reason or advantage to replacing one with theirs? Is there an improvement in steering quality (i.e. vibrations and road comfort with hands on the wheel)?

Use the stock steering stabilizer until it dies, mine leaked after a few months on my '08 and I replaced it with the Teraflex.

x2 keep the stock SS until it dies - do a search on the TF SS, several issues posted on that SS

X3 on using the stock until it dies. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have the 9550 SS and love it. It's heavier duty than stock and can stand up to abuse. First one I got had a broken seal. Teraflex customer service was great and sent me a new one. Not a single issue with it.

I think most people just buy the brand that matches their lift. Honestly they all get the job done

I'm on my third TF steering stabilizer in the last nine months. The first two both leaked after a couple months of use and NO damage. Granted, Joe @ Teraflex has been very cooperative in replacing them when they go bad, but if this one that I have on now goes, I think I'm going to cut my loses and go with a different mfg.

ya keep your stock until it dies. I too bought a teraflex and it also leaked right away, I did get a replacement, but opted to get a bilstein instead and I'm happy with that, I keep the teraflex as back-up just in case. I hear quite a few teraflex ss leak
