Default Teraflex sway bar install.

Ok, I followed the instructions and have it all sitting in place. The instructions don't mention how to adjust the links but I assume it just has to be adjusted for the lock knob to engage/disengage. Is this correct? Also the passenger side seems close to the front body mount but nothing is mentioned about trimming it at all.

Just leave the nuts loose until you have adjusted the link by turning the center links one way or the other. Then tighten them up.

Could you post pics I've been wondering about this sway bar. I already have their quick disconnects. I have found the pin and bushings to be a pain when muddy or flexing with the links in the park position.

The adjustment is mostly to line up the lock, correct? The pics are from my phone, sorry if they're not the best.

They are used to help fine tune the adjustment for the lock, but also to set the height of the swaybar arms. You don't want the arms to bend down when at ride height, that could lead to the links inverting when flexing.

That can happen with any lift kit that has too short of front swaybar links installed.

Oh yeah, it just sounds scary.

I can't imagine what that would sound like. I can imagine what my face would look like if i ever saw that happen.

There have been quite a few pics of snapped or pretzeled links from inverted swaybars. One guy even had it happen on the lift at his shop. It's definitely worth the minimal cost to get longer links on.
