Teraflex vs RockKrawler
Help! 2014 fully equipped JKUR with King 2.5s. Would like to put 2.5" lift and can't decide on Teraflex or Rock Krawler. Honestly, this jeep see trails prob 4-6 times per year and no crazy rock climbing. I need to maintain smoothness of stock Jeep ride! That's most important to me. Also, long arm vs mid arm kits which would give me better on road ride/feel. Thx for any feedback you can provide.

I have driven or owned a jeep with EVO 3" enforcer (ranchos), metalcloak 2.5 (OME) , TF 2.5 BB (stock shocks), TF 2.5 coil (teraflex shocks), and RK xfactor (OME and Blistien),
Ride quality is subjective, but as far as soft and smooth ride I would rank them in the order listed above. The EVO and MC were both truly better than stock.
I use to think my RK 3.5 rode great until I installed other lifts.

I have MC, best joints you can buy hands down, synergy's new joints look similar.
Long arms are going to have the best on-road manners - MC says you don't need them with their setup, but i'm not sure if that's based on off road need or road need. I've had Teraflex stuff and their joints need to be replaced a lot more than I care to do, and they still use Clevite joints at 1 end. They are burly but the joints are what you should spend money on, most aftermarket arms are burly

I'm in this camp. RK coils are less prone to sagging, especially once you add in armor, bumpers, winch, etc. I haven't run them myself, but I've heard more than once that TF coils tend to be a little on teh soft side and start to sag. Softer coils are probably better for road manners, though, so it's a matter of what's more important to you.

I have RK triple rate coils and king adjustable shocks I love the ride the adjustment on the Kings is awesome. Had this setup for 3 years.
I recommend expend a little extra and go with the king adjustables.
