Exclamation Teraflex VS Rockkrawler VS AEV for a daily driver......................

I am looking for the best lift for my new 2012 daily driver. It will see 95% daily driver duty with some weekend trail rides. What are everyones experiences and opinions on these lifts? I want to make sure I pick the right one on the first go around. I normally end up with multiple lifts per jeep and I really want to avoid that this time.
Thanks,
Chris

I just got my AEV 3.5 SC delivered today, it gets installed Tuesday. If its primarily a DD, then I say go with the AEV. By all means, the other two are top notch, but geared a little more towards the person who wheels a little more often and harder. Plus you'll most likely have to get some additional components for the TF & RK to really make it complete and not run into issues down the road where as the AEV is a very complete kit. Then you'll have the people who are going to question the drop down brackets on the AEV as supposed to new LCA's.

In the long run, it depends on what you want. Happy hunting!

I've been running the 2.5 inch coil lift from tearaflex for about 2 years and 30,000 miles. I have had no problems and great luck with it. It rides as good as stock if not better. I ordered the teraflex lcg 3 inch long arm yesterday. I'll post a review when I get it installed

i had the chance to test drive a JKU with AEV 3.5" kit and 35" BFG tko tires a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with this setup for street use!! it really did handle and ride better than the stock 2012 jku rubicon i test drove that same day. Like you most of my driving will be street use and some light trails. Since i know how the AEV performs/handles its def the kit i am going with. Never driven the other kits so i cant say i would not like them though.

AEV maintains the stock geometry of the suspension and the stock bushings which will be best to absorb the DD bumps and handling. They do use drop bracket (read: loss of ground clearance) for the stock control arms. That said, I have wheeled my 3.5" kit all over Utah and Colorado without any problems. Plus the cross country trip was smooth riding on 35s at highway speeds.

I have the 3.5" x factor by Roack Krawler and love it. Rides better then stock and has an insane amount of flex. RK has great customer service and reasonable prices for such complete systems. I think the comparison between the three you mentioned is going to net the same results as the Chevy vs Ford vs Dodge debate, No definitive answer. Good luck and I am sure you will be happy with any one of the three companies.
