Default Terafllex 2.5" or OME 2"

Hey yall,
Right now I have a 2" spacer lift by skyjacker. Just wondering if yall could help me decide with some pros and cons or each and maybe some pix? There seems to be a slober fest over both and I really can't decide. I hope to get over 3" and if I am correct both of these kits will give me that?
Thanks
Keith

if you go Teraflex.. just get Front lower Control arms and your done.. if you go OME, you will need bumpstops, brake line extension brackets, lower control arms, rear sway bracket, then your done..

both are good.

Are you two dr or 4dr? That will make a difference on height of the kit. So keep that in mind.

I am sure that OME is good but I love the Tera. I did end up going with the OME shocks.

Damn, yall are fast. I have a 2 door spd and right now Im running 33's. Does anyone know if either of these kits would allow me to reuse my shocks? I picked up a set of nitro skyjacker shocks with my b.b. (sorry but im still a newb)

Not sure about OME but you can order the Tera with Shock adapters. If you plan on wheeling it I would get new shocks to maximize articulation.

If one kit should have Front Lower Control Arms both kits should since they both net approx the same amount of lift. Same for the brake line braket extensions, rear sway bracket.

Here is a thread about compressing coils to full solid

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=106056&page=3

Specifically about completely compressing OME coils. The ARB engineer doesn't recomend fulling compressing the coil but it won't hurt the coil.

If you keep the spacer lift you have now you'd def want extended bump stops.

The only thing I'd really get with either kit is an adjustable track bar, atleast for the front.

Both are good kits. If you are removing your spacer lift and doing new coils you most likely will not need adjustable control arms because you'll be at 3 inch of lift. When you're much about 3 or 4 you'd want adjustable arms.

You should be ok without that. Check your clearances on your specific rig, you may need extended brake lines etc.

Cliff Notes

You can't go wrong with either kit. But with either one expect to have to use the same extra parts, IE Trackbars, control arms, brake lines, etc etc. It'd be the same for either kit since they both give the same amount of lift. So one won't need more or less than the other.

Good Luck!!
