Default Tereflex lift

Well im about to get my tax refund and will be purchasing my lift for me 2012 jk sport. I already bought mickey thompson atz in 33's. Im not wanting to go any bigger at the time since they are new and i drive some 1000 mile roadtrips to colorado and texas. I cant decide to go with just a Tereflex leveling kit, 1.5 performance lift kit(springs), or just go ahead and get the 2.5 bb or coil spring. Im not doing tons of off roading since im still trying to find places and the time to go but im torn between what I should do. So let me hear the opinions and see if yall can help me decide what is best for me. Also how much stiffer are these setups than stock? and how much of a lift did you net with the 2.5" cause ive heard more around 3" and want to make sure it will fit in the garage. Thanks in advance

If you have the money, might as well just do the 2.5

However, I'm currently running the 1.5 Teraflex leveling kit with 33s, I go off road and haven't rubbed at all. The 1.5 leveling kit might be all you need if you don't wheel.

I just bought the 2.5 coil lift and will install in two weeks, if all goes well. You basically can't go wrong with any of those choices.

Here's a 3.5 AEV coil with 1.25 body lift and 39's krawler that still has room to fit into a 7 ft garage door
If you don't do much rocks go for a complete AEV kit

With 33s and 2.5" lift you won't be anywhere near having issues getting into garage. If I were you I'd get the 2.5" coil lift with shocks (multiple vendors have great deals on that lift with bilstein shocks) Reason is... You can always upgrade to 35s with zero issues including getting into garage. Another would be knowing that your lift is more than enough for what you plan on using it for and you won't have to upgrade in a year or so. The spacer lift will do just fine though if you never really plan on wheeling it and more for just clearance when driving on trails and dirt roads. As for ride quality I think you will get a better every day ride from spacer lift and shock extension. People sell their spacer lifts all the time so you could score a lift for next to nothing when a coil and shock replacement lift could start pushing around $800 or a little less depending on shocks

I had the Teraflex 2 inch leveling and switched last month to the 2 1/2" coil lift and love it. The ride is way better. More stable. The wife even noticed the difference. Currently running 285/70/17 with Bilsteins. Room for 35s now.

thanks for the answers, I am trying to figure out I guess what kind of wheeling we have in illinois, Missouri, Indiana so that I can outfit my rig to the wheeling we have close by. I havent lived here very long and not familiar with anything up here. So maybe someone can help me out with that. I also dont want to go cheap when i just spent bought a brand new jeep cause I have been there in the past and told myself I would never do that again.

Had a 2 door with 2.5 teraflex lift with 1" body lift and 35 12.5 17's rode great and still fit in garage. I liked the ride so much I have the same lift in my garage waiting to be installed on my 2013 jkur

If you already got 33's and not going any bigger do a cheap simple budget boost!!! 2 inch front 1 inch rear !! For a better ride quality maybe get shocks.

Dajavu....i am going with the same tires in 285 70 17 and the TF level kit (spacers)

When trying to decide you need to be 100% honest with yourself;

-what will your Jeep be used for most of the time
-whats the max tire size you will ever go

Heck ya i wanted to go 35s and a 3.5" lift. BUT i daily drive 120km per day and only light trails when i can.

Dont out smart your common sense

Best of luck choosing its not easy
