Default Terflex Control arms.

Hey guys I have a big problem with my front control arms. I have -1.4 caster! Can you guys with a 2 door (and positive caster) measure the length of your control arms (top and bottom)? Thank you so much for the help! Cheers

Erik

I have seen that thanks. And when they put it on the machine it showed -1.4 and it is driving like crap, all over the road. I was wondering if anyone could be helpful and get me some measurements so I have a starting point.

Set your lowers at 23in eye to eye, with a tf 3in that should put you in about the 5-6degree range.

My bad, see you need upper measurements too try setting them to 18 7/8in and lowers to 23in as a starting point. This is for the front.

Also firestone will not adjust the caster without charging me more money! So I am responsible for setting my caster. I hope to get it where I need it! Thanks again guys!

Yep as said, try setting them at 23' on each side. I am running a TF 2.5 Coil lift which netted over 3' and my caster is at 5.3 degrees

I also have a question about the TF LCA's, and dont want to start another thread. I have a 3" OME lift, and need to put in my new LCA's. The directions that came with them says one side needs to be slightly longer than the other side. Cant remember which side off the top of my head. But when you are measuring the distance from eye to eye, do you center the bolt shaft in the control arm joint, or try to angle it like it would sit in the Jeep? Does that make sense?

Also, does anyone know what size bolt heads hold the front LCA's in? I need to borrow some sockets from a buddy, but dont know what size they are and I cant check since I'm at work...

I have been adjusting mine for the few weeks. I finally used WOL write up and it drives fine now. 23 eye to eye for the lowers and 18 7/8 for the uppers
