I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Teraflex 3" lift kit

Now... Should I pay he extra and get it with their shocks? Or run my stock rubicon shocks with it?

Also, does this kit come with everything I need to do a lift? No surprises?

you'll want their shocks. factory shocks wont be long enough, even with extensions. you will also need an adjustable front track bar. everything else comes with it. David at northridge4x4 has a great deal on these now...$100 off!

after your lift is on, and you drive it around some, you may decide you want front lower control arms to adjust your caster. its not necessary, but it might help with handling.

I went with the TF 3'' all 8 control arms, shocks, adj front track bar, & a steering stabilizer shock. Don't forget about the rear springs bowing. It seems everyone has had good luck W/ degree shims on the 4 doors. On my two door it worked better for me to cut the rear spring perch's free & roll them forward a few degrees.

those are adjustable arms. you will still need an adjustable front track bar. those are on sale now, too. use the coupon code "teraflex" for a 10% discount. awesome lifts and David is great to work with.

the TF kits tend to give about 1" more than advertised, especially on 2 door models using the 4 door kits. my 4 door got about 5" from their 4" kit and im still sitting more than 4" with my bumpers and winch.

Im looking to get the 3 inch Teraflex on my 4 door Rubicon. Even though they advertise 3 inches, I will most likely get around 4 inches according to my research. So if I got shocks from a different brand would I get shocks for a 3 inch lift or a 4 inch lift??? And with this lift would I have to replace the driveshafts or regear???

I lost you on the rear springs bowing and on the degree shims. Could you elaborate on these two items?
