Terra Grapplers?
I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you decide to get....just about anything is a HUGE improvement over the stock steelies with the little donut spare tires, no offense...I had em too, and was almost embarassed to drive it around until they got my new wheels in.
OK i have decided to go with BFG M/T KM1's 285 75 R16 with the above mentioned rims. I realize without a lift this may rub but my understanding is that 305 65 r17 doesnt cause any rubbing as far as turning and street driving except maybe the air dam.
I am also worried about the speedo/mileage issue. I am hearing the Accupro calibrator isnt working right now with the X model, and id really rather NOT pay $200 for a calibrater. I compared the sahara tire package with my tire selection and found that there is only a 2.5-3% difference which is way better than my x tires to 33's
I can live with 2-3 MPH for now until a cheaper solution becomes available for the X. Does anyone see a problem with this combo for a daily driver that wont see any flexing (other than mild snow and slush...what i would consider normal car flexing) or off roading until spring? Hopefully i will have the rims and tires paid off and be able to focus on the lift.

WOW!! you started out looking at a mild all terrain and ended up buying an aggressive mud terrain
Your Jeep is going to cost you alot more money than you first thought. It looks like you have a hard time (like most of us) resisting temptation. I dont know you felt it or not but the bottom just dropped out of your wallet.

$881 for tires $435 for rims $80 mounted and balanced $40 for speedo calibration at my NEW dealer since the old one decided to be a bunch of 'tards
$300 for lift kit b/c with these M/T tires i will be tempted to go off road and when they flex and rip my flares off i will be forced to get the lift and probably $600 bushwacker flares...b/c well...why not? Then when i get all that done i will be more aggressive and get stuck in deeper mud and need a winch....but alas you need a bumper built for a winch so thats another $500 or so $650 for the one i truely want plus like a grand for the winch....then i will tear a tire on a rock and realize i should have been smart and bought 5 tires
But then id have to buy a rear bumper with tire carrier or risk it breaking the stock carrier.
Does it ever end
I can see Wilbur drooling.... You sure you don't want black rims with the Yellow Jeep? I think that would look like wow. Like they make black rims for a yellow Jeep.... Just my .02, sorry if I mislead you from a rim you had allready decided on.... some soft 8's would be cheap and look awesome....
