Default TF 2,5 Lift Kit without Adjustable front track Bar

I had installed mine and the FRONT axle has moved a little bit to the driver side. I now that i would need an adjustable track bar to correct this, but i would like to now how many people have a lift kit without an adjustable front track bar and how many miles have you driven without it.

I see that you have the coil lift. I will assume really you have about 3" of lift on that 2dr. Test drive it on a straight road. See if you are veering off to the right or left; see if your steering wheel is off when going straight; check your tires for any uneven or noticeable wear to unsure you do not have "crabbing." If everything is fine then just do a wheel alignment if you need to and you are good. Nothing else to worry about

My suggestion if you need to fix is to do a front adjustable trackbar like JKS or Teraflex or whoever you like, and get a track bar drop down bracket by Teraflex for the rear.

I have a 2" BB. I am running everything else stock and I am fine after doing a minor wheel alignment, lots of 4-wheeling, and 27k miles later.

I have the TF 2.5" coil lift w/ shocks and used the included rear drop bracket for the track bar. The front may have moved ever so slightly but not enough to affect anything. I have put about 500 miles on it since the lift and aside from re-centering the steering wheel it drives and tracks perfectly. New lower arms and a front adj track bar would go along way for bringing everything back into the proper geometry though. goodluck

I don't have one. My lift has been on at least 3K now.

I have the TF 2.5 spacers with 4-door springs up front. Almost 30K miles (with the lift), lots of offroad, no problems with the stock hardware. Looks like the first thing to go will be the tread on my tires.

How many of you who have bought either the TF 2.5" BB or coil have had to buy extra parts of any kind after? I have the money for the lift but nothing else. Dont want to risk breaking the driveshaft or anything when on the trails and not having the cash to replace it.

(sorry for hijacking, didnt want to make a new thread because everyone just says use the search engine )

Only additional hardware that you would need if you are keeping your stock tires and wheels are wheel spacers. The kit tells you that though. I dont have spacers and I AM running the stock rubicon wheels and stock 32's which is perfectly fine for daily driving, however when the rear axle articulates the drivers side rear tire will rub on the sway bar. So until my new 35's and soft 8's arrive ill be sticking to the pavement.

Hmmm, you risk breaking stuff even if it's stock. Your safest bet would be to do the TF BB. Then plan out what exactly you wanna do to your rig, upgrade along the way. That's what I did, being short of cash the majority of the time.

i have aftermarket rims and tires but i might end up getting spacers anyway cause my rims are 4.75" backspacing i think. I was thinking more along the lines of a driveshaft, control bars ect. Anyone break/ damage their driveshaft with a 2.5" kit?

I purchased the 2.5" Coil lift and went with the adjustable trackbar from the start since I wasn't into drilling a hole in my frame for the relocation/drop bracket.

Everything went pretty well except that I noticed my front axle was off about 3/4 of an inch. For me, YMMV, the passenger side was moved inwards towards the center of the vehicle. It really became noticeable once I put on the larger tires. I ended up ordering the front adjustable trackbar which solved my issue. I will probably end up going with at least the front lower adjustable control arms too by the spring.
