when I installed My rear spring I did both sides at the same time. disconnected both sway bar links both shocks and the trac bar at axle and had no issues. rear diff hose is easy enough just to slip off the frame if it is tight should not affect it.

x2, disconnect both sides. I didn't need a compressor either. pushup on the opposite sider while lowering the side you're putting in. This technique works on the front also.

Thanks guys! I disconnected both sides and the breather hose. She dropped right down and gave me more than enough room without the spring compressors. The rear is now pretty much done. Just need to finish the bump stops and end links. My kit was missing the extended links. It was my fault but Dave from Northridge gave me a really good price on them and shipped them out for me. They were supposed to arrive today but UPS delayed them last minute. I should be fine driving 15 miles on Monday before they arrive? I drove my TJ around for almost two weeks without the front sway bar connected. Made for an interesting ride but mechanically she was fine.

With the new rear track bar bracket you don't need to drill anymore! It bolts to the driver's side lower control arm, current track bar mounting point and has a u-bolt that attaches the right side of the bracket to the axle tube. Makes for a much easier install than trying to drill.

From what I read it looks like I will need the spring compressors for the front? Doesn't look like you can get the front axle to drop quite as far as the rear? Any other differences?

With the new track bar mount. There are two holes that the track bar can mount to. One on top of the other. Does it matter which one the track bar bolts to or do I just bolt it to the one that fits?

This is the new track bar.

You have the two holes at the top. I'm wondering which one the track bar mounts to or if it even matters? Right now the track bar is in the lower hole, finger tight.

You want the track bar to be as flat as possible. From the picture, it looks like the top mounting position will give you a better angle.

my guess is trial and error for the which hole issue. if the axle is not centerd with one hole try the other one.

OK, my last question before I wrap this install up. The extended rear end links. How am I supposed to tighten the nut on the top of the end link if there is no nut on the opposing side to stop the threads from spinning inside the end link?

This is what I've got when I peel back the rubber shroud. Absolutely nothing there to get a wrench on to stop the threads from spinning.
