Default TF 2.5" to TF 4" w/flexarms

Getting ready to upgrade lifts and I got to thinking it may be easier to peice this together instead of buying a whole new kit. Currently running the 2.5 coil/shock kit and want to go 4 what do I need?

4" coils
longer front sway links (Possibly Currie anti rock)
New axle mount rear trac bracket
Front and rear flex arms

anything I am missing?

Plan to re use my 9550 shocks and front and rear TF trac bars.

Maybe extended brake lines? I have the drop bracket right now.

Looking through the TF catalog I should be able to get all this stuff for right at $1k. A new 4" kit with flexarms runs $1800.

I would definitely get steel braided, longer brake hose/lines from Teraflex while you are at it. It will be a safer feeling when flexing.

Definitely do upper & lower control arms in order to fix your caster and adjust your axle to compensate the driveshaft angle.

Speaking of driveshafts, you may want to replace them if you are going to wheel. Definitely be looking into a new front driveshaft if you have auto; it will be hitting the factory skid.

Longer swaybar links are a must.

Do you have trackbars already. If not I would definitely consider a front and rear adjustable trackbar in order to realign your axles properly.

I know, it's a lot. But it will look so bad a$$ with a 4" and will off road like a beast. So if you have the cash, do it.

I currently run a TF 3" coil lift with 8 Flex Arms and just talked to Joe about upgrading to a TF 4" coil lift. I already have aftermarket drive shafts and adjustible track bars here is what he told me I would need:

4" coils, add the #1600400 flip kit, longer swaybar links, add a set of brakelines, bumpstops.

I'd get a hold of Joe if you have any concerns or are worried about forgetting components. Good luck with the upgrade!!
