Default tf bb trac bar bracket...

ok i installed the lift last weekend minus the bracket. well i was gonna buy new front and rear adjustable trac bars but as luck would have it my dog had to go to the vet monday and used my trac bar money lol

my question is does that bracket center the rear? i'm assuming it does or what would its purpose be. also me running the jeep without a new front track bar will i be putting to much stress on anything like the sway bar endlinks and what not? it seems to me that it would be. i know its a bb lift that is made to what appears to be good quality but if it does shorten the life of other components being off center like that then it really makes no sense not to go full out on a lift that includes everything.

not knocking teraflex cause i plan on upgrading to their coils and control arms just need to know i don't wanna be replacing crap down the road b4 im ready. the sway bar endlinks will be replaced with jks quick discos next month at the same time i upgrade the trac bars so not concerned about them just would like some input

thanks

They didn't offer the relocation bracket when I got my lift in 06 and I have been running without any of that for about 33K miles. You will be just fine not doing any of that stuff now.

like i read a lot of guys are running it that way just seems that it being out that much would be hard on control arms, sway bar end links, where the shocks mount ect. but i wanna upgrade all thet stuff eventually anyway but just dont wanna have to do when money is tight and and parts are broken you know what i mean.

but im most likely worried about nothing especially since it will be fixed within 5000km anyway

Installed my today, and the rear sway bar upper link on the drivers side is jammed into the tire, pass side has lots of room.

Had to leave it disconnected and hanging down.

so i centered the rear axle with the rear trc bar bracket and moved my rear swaybar endlinks to the inside being i had them mounted to the ouside before. i have wheel spacers so that could account for why i had no rubbing issues but figured i better just do it anyway. heres the best before and after pics i got for now.

Ghey
connect your swaybar link on the other side should give you more clearance. Do both sidesClick image for larger version
