Default TF Leveling kit vs. 2.5" BB???

I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Teraflex leveling kit but don't want to make the mistake of ordering it and then regretting not going with the 2.5" BB right off the bat. What are your opinons? I don't forsee doing any major wheeling on a regular basis, but I know I will eventually make the jump to a 2-4" lift someday. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

do it once, do it right, go wit a 2.5 coil lift, add an adj trackbars,LCA, according to your budget or go with BB if you dont plan adding a bumper/winch

Seems to me like you answered your own question in your paragraph. Go with the BB.

I have the leveling kit and i love it. It's just enough for me and for what i do, but thats me.

I just got done putting the 2.5 bb on my unlimited rubicon. I have a 3.5 rubicon express coil lift on the shelf but I don't want to run that until I can pick up new driveshafts and ca's. Besides I just put flat flares on and it would look stupid with a 3.5 coil lift on the factory wheel and tire package. I need wheels and tires bad after the fender install. The 32's look tiny.

Go with the BB for now until you got the money to get all the right stuff to do the 3-4" coil lift right. The BB is a great little lift for the money.

Here is mine with the 2.5" TF BB. I would do the BB again, but now I really want the 2.5" coil kit. The bumpers and winch weighed it down quite a bit

side shot - ignore the hideous chrome bumpers.

My main dilemna is funding at the present which is preventing me from just going with a coil lift in the first place. One other consideration is that I'll be having to run the stock wheels (which I don't mind) with the stock GY SRA's (which I do mind) for the time being and I don't want it to look goofy by going too tall. This is why I was thinking the leveling kit would be the way to go for now, but as mentioned, definitely open to suggestions.

A question to those who have installed the TF leveling kit; will the leveling kit provide enough lift to allow for the addition of an aftermarket front bumper/winch combo, and an aftermarket rear bumper w/ an integrated tire carrier AND still allow enough room for 33" tires?

Sorry to ask a question instead of answer one. How much lift does the leveling kit advertise? Does it only lift the front?

I put spacers on with my BB and My only real concern without having wheeled it yet is that since the tires stick out more I might have rubbed fenders with even my stock tires at full flex since they won't tuck in like before. With a little lift it might not be a problem.

I have front and rear bumpers fully loaded with winch and tire carrier and the BB looked great with factory fenders. Should be plenty to clear 33's. Good luck with your decision.

I just installed the leveling kit, partly because I'll be adding a front bumper with winch. I will likely also add a rear bumper, as well as run 33s at some point. I don't believe there will be an issue with clearance. If there is an issue then the fenders can be chopped or Bushwackers installed.
