Default TF lift and control arms SQUEEKING

Not sure if I was looking in the wrong place or just a case of the Tuesdays... but I have a 2.5 TF lift coil and shock, the past week it is starting to squeek really bad going over bumps... What type of grease should I use to lube up the shocks and the control arm bushings... I used an all purpose a few months ago and it seemed to last about 2 weeks and then it all gupped off

We were just talking about this in the woods this weekend, the problem with grease is that unless it's comtained much like your cv joints then it will begin to accumulate dirt and grit and grim and basically you will have to clean it all out and start at square one. One guy that we go with is a member here and he told me that he douses it in tire foam, the foam pulls the crap out and leaves a silicone layer in your joints and viola quiet ride! just make sure you get some caliper cleaner in there and get the grease out first

Sounds likes your stock control arm bushings/swaybar bushings are needing some grease. You do not need to grease the shocks. Do you have TeraFlex control arms? Try Lucas Red N Tacky in those flex joints.

Speaking of greasing the control arms... are you supposed to leave the Zerk fittings on the top of the Teraflex LCAs all the time? I left mine on when I installed and they seem VERY hard to get to with a grease gun.

You can leave them in if you want to. Some customer pull the zerks and replace them with allen plug. Then they only use the zerks to service the arms.

Typically they only squeek if the bushings/ swivel ball are dry. It's a good thing to grease them when you do your oil change.

My Jeep has 800 miles on it.....I lifted it at about 400 miles.......There is a pretty serious pop when hitting high speed bumps (interstate stuff) coming from the rear....everything is tight and torqued.....This week it started having a "Gawd Awful" squeak, groan, moan from the area that seems it should be the passenger side front control arm.....haven't had a chance to look yet.....curious if others have had this same experience and what they did?

I am TF 2.5 coil and shock lift with stock track bars and control arms.....I will check torque on everything tomorrow and go from there.

torque was a little off just like TF said it would be.....needed to be tightened at approx 500 miles......torqued everything back down and still have the groan, moan, squeak.......no grease fitting on the stock CA's.....hmmmmmm

Default no grease fittings

There are no grease fittings, or any threaded holes in which to put grease fittings, and no grease fittings came with my lift kit even though it shows them in the instructions......are you talking about just greasing the outside of the links? Seems that would just get messy and attract a bunch of dirt.
